It does not suck to be me at this moment, I’ve had a wonderful workout at the gym, a delicious long, hot shower, some soup to fill my distended, engorged abdomen…heaven…don’t get me wrong there are tragic circumstances where it sucks to be me turns into a mantra, but not right now.
Glorious news…Provincetown this weekend, we will arrive Friday afternoon and leave kicking and screaming Tuesday afternoon. P-town during the quiet season is truly a joy, there will still be alot of people milling about, it’s Holly Folly weekend, alot of the stores are discounting big time for the holidays…I will be at the Squealing Pig
consuming a Lost Sailor Ale and possibly some curried french fries…BTW that is not me in the lower right hand corner outside walking by…I’d never cuff my pants that much.
I watched a few movies this weekend, The one I liked the most by far was an oldie…Gia with Angelina Jolie (who I find to be very alien and scary looking) its the story of a famous model Gia Carangi, tragic story of her quick rise to the top, including drug addiction, massive amounts of sex, and her death at 26 from aids (she should have continued to snort heroin, not mainline it) anyway heres a picture of the real gia

Alright, I know I could have picked a more attractive photo of angelina jolie…but she looks, in this photo a bit like one of the monesters in the spanish film Rec
Alright enough of that. I’m currently reading a collection of short stories by Saul Bellow, and heard this song …I was singing backup to this song whilst on the elliptical, thank gawd I have no pride

The Squealing Pig! A little history if you don’t mind. Used to be called Fat Jack’s and I still have the white tank top. Before that it was called Condon’s. To you remember that? Always the top place to go for a cold beer and apps while people watching!

Now I know why I don’t read at work. You never know when hooters may appear. BTW, regardless of her hair and makeup in the movie….nice.
